ImageMAKER Discovery Assistant is a powerful automation program designed to manage the conversion of electronic files to TIFF and/or PDF. The program combines a database front end capable of managing millions of documents with a automated document conversion back end, capable of converting tens of thousands of documents a day. Documents are automatically converted using the native application (Word, Excel, Acrobat, etc.) to TIFF or PDF.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 GB (32-bit) or 8GB (64-bit) of RAM (the more the better)
  • 32 or 64 bit version of Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, Windows 10 or Windows 2016.
  • Windows Terminal Server extensions are supported.
  • 20 Gigabytes of available hard drive space

Installation Instructions:

  1. If you haven't already done so, install the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 Redistributable Package. This is best done by enabling .Net 3.5 in the Windows Settings | Windows Features applet. You can find this in Windows 7 under Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off. In Windows 10 this is located under Settings | Apps and Features | Manage Optional Features.
  2. If you haven't already done so, install the latest Microsoft Office updates. Usually this is hadled by Microsoft Update, but there is also an option to update in Office itself, on the Settings page.
  3. Install the DiscoveryAssistant application (download and run DiscoverySetup3.exe)
